Bush is not being investigated but this is Cheney's company. But isn't it ironic how right wingers scream about the value of free Enterprise and the importance of competition except when it comes to the Haliburton exclusive contract which was no bid. It's been pointed out time and again that there were many companies that could have performed some of the tasks Haliburton was doing in Iraq. But the Cheney, Bush administration is presiding over cut throat favoritism. Interesting how free Enterprise gets thrown out the window when it comes to the Haliburton contract. If you stick with the Cheney/Bush administration long enough they'll even stick a knife in the back of American capitalism.

but that's why nepotism and cronyism laws are in effect - to stop the impression of illegal or unethical activity.

Employees who want be brown nosers will think that they are impressing the boss and that is just as bad.
