I think getting up in arms about this is pretty silly. Don't people have a sense of humor? ITS FUNNY!!!!

There is no reason to think this would lead to homosexuality as clearly any heterosexual male knows, being gay is no choice and cannot be affected by the clothes you wear. I don't know of any heterosexual man who became gay who wasn't hiding his gayness all along.

People need to chill.

...about his "skirt", I'm under no illusions that clothes of any sort lead to homosexuality.

My position in this is simply that some peoples' culture contains such a belief, and if they're to tolerate (for example) SS' belief, she must similarly tolerate theirs if we're to be a truly free society (or societies).

True enough. I agree with that ideal. But I don't think SS is attempting to suppress or be intolerant of their beliefs. He simply disagrees. So do I. I don't think it is a big deal. But the majority rules as long as the minority is protected. I just think it is silly.
