I certainly do not want the UN's lack of a backbone to put me or my family at risk of attack.

That I agree with. But I don't agree with a world government that nobody directly votes in with no separation of powers or checks and balances, that makes laws that everyone must follow.

Then take that up with your own leader. If your leader sends you to fight a bs war concieved in Washington, then vote against him next time. That is, unless you are not allowed to vote for your leader.
