Anyone who recognizes how tremendously difficult it must be for an 18 year old marine or soldier to be spending his/her first Christmas away from home in a foreign land where he/she is being fired upon daily is nothing more than a goose-stepping fascist moron.
Many of us realize these very young people are only doing their jobs, and there is no political agenda in helping to make their jobs a little easier. There is a difference between supporting the guy who gave the orders and supporting the folks at the bottom of the food chain who are tasked with implementing them. Way to make the left increasingly irrelevant, Mouse. And way to show the thinness and hypocrisy of some folks' "support" for the troops. Catz

Good choice, make sure your seen to be "suppporting the troops" your opinion spells: "if anyone doesn't 'support' various campains/movements/societys/fund raisers them they are crippled by political agenda...my opinion has no agenda...i just want to love "our boys"
dear god, if you can't see some of this stuff as - forget about vietnam and the moment lets put our full support into vietnam to support "our boys over there" then you must be TRYING not to see it. why does this history repeat with every unpopular conflict? because if you don't "support" the troops I.E THE WAR - then your inhuman/unpatriotic because they're defending the stars & stripes/liberty your at home not sending money/food and thus damaging america, by shunnig/not helping the troops fighting in your name. theres a very thin line bettween supporting the troops of a war, and supporting the war.

Actually, there was no implied judgement in my posting.
I was simply making people aware of a good organization at a time of year when people are thinking about making charitable giving a priority.

what are you stupid? theres a VERY thin line between supporting troops, and supporting the 'actions' the troops are doing. obviously Jnr gets wet at the though of stirring up the american badge-pin wearing, flag waving, troop supporting crowd.
it's quite simple, do you think such schemes are politically a good or bad thing for jnr?
