Just as I predicted, other than you, the silence is "deafening".

Yes but they didn't play it all day and night in the 80's.

Wow. What an essentially mean spirited comment. And I'm no milk toast when it comes to posting either.

Personally, I think it's a pretty pointless exercise to dig up statistics about Reagan at a time when the new president is facing in all reality an impending depression as if this is some "American idol" popularity contest, but disrespecting the memory of Reagan like that...wow. Like he was human garbage.

Lol, people soon forget just exactly what a menace the Soviet Union was to Western civlization. I saw an art exhibit one time where an artist had placed 50,000 pennies on the floor of an art gallery. It was a awesome, they spread out across the floor in a sea of copper.

The artists point: this was the number of battle tanks in the Soviet arsenal.

Perhaps you've never seen a tank. My MOS in the Army was Dragon gunner. The Dragon gun is a shoulder missle. The soldier carries the missle as close as he can get to the enemy tank and the takes it out.

Tanks are like as big as a house. They're huge. Their armour is thick as beams. They have hulking movable cannons on top and a few nasty high caliber automatic weapons for sh**s and giggles. They can plow through concrete block construction like it's kids playhouses in a sand lot.

The Soviets had 50,000 of them ready to blitz an effeminate and emasculated Europe when Reagan, an aging poltician from an era when Americans were a better people, took office and found a way to hold off that day when those tanks roll.

Mock Reagan all you want, but Civilization can pretty much thank it's sorry a** that humanity didn't slip slide into another bloody **it show world war thanks to that old dogs kahunas.

That would mean all the tatooed, pierced, flashy bling swinging gang banging super pimpin low riding stud muffins buffed out and ready to pull a train who never had to face down a truly formidable foe...like a Soviet tank.

What? Did I say something amiss? I, personally don't want to hear all that nostalgic BS about Reagan's "glory days"...Cheney, Wolfie, and the rest of the neo-cons solidified their impetus under good ol' Ronnie, and helped cause the mess we're in now. Tell the truth and shame the devil, I always say.

Mean-spirited? Kinda like what George Bush did to the Iraqis? That kinda mean-spiritedness? Please. Give me a break. Republicans just bring it out of me....what can I say?
There is no love lost on Reagan, for me. Even less for Nancy, but I just abhor "tackiness"...but I'll give Ronnie props on his ability to work a room.
If you have a problem with the OP, then please direct it that way.

Why would we be doing that? Your response didn't make much sense, as there are laws against unsafe working conditions, which I never advocated getting rid of.

No, you can't. If you are anti-bees, then you most likely support measures against them that would harm their success, and ultimately, lead to less sweet tasting honey, or no honey at all.

Gnome saying?

And what do you want to do about it? It's so easy to condemn, so difficult to create. This is quite typical of a liberal; pointing out flaws in the market with no idea of how to make things better.

Please point out where I said that. There is consumer demand, but that demand is not met if there are no firms.

Filing bankruptcy and getting bailouts are both GOVERNMENT programs supported by your liberal friend Barrack Obama.

That's because your post is so random, and devoid of relevance to the debate. Both blacks and whites commit crimes. What's your point?

I just love how all arguments come down to a partisan slug fest where one side is trying to blame the other for all the problems the US is facing now. Both sides are right, both sides put us where we are now.

As for arguing about who's inauguration got more views it is stupid. Technology, population, and the fact that its the first black president have a huge effect on those numbers. I will say though that both Obama and Reagan inherited ailing economies, so both had plenty of unemployed people to sit home all day and watch the dang thing.

Reagan lowered taxes to help spur business and it worked. Obama plans on letting congress write up a "stimulus" package to get us out of this mess. It's going to be an interesting 4 years. I wish him luck but I believe congress is going to be the ones to tarnish how history sees what he has done in the White house.

As stated before, reading is fundamental, however, comprehension is optional.

The contribution of any substance to the conversation or the topic, is as I predicted. Try to keep up.
