Default Bush Gets Standing Ovation While Firing Off High Strike Pitch at Texas Rangers Game

Bush Gets Standing Ovation While Firing Off High Strike Pitch at Texas Rangers Game

Quote:
AP: In his first big appearance locally since moving to Dallas from the White House, Bush received a standing ovation and overwhelming cheers from a crowd of about 40,000 after the public address announcer said, "We welcome home the 43rd president."
I know this is going to upset those of you with BDS, but too bad. I never voted for President Bush, but I served under him in the US Army and he was an excellent Commander-in-Chief. If I would have been there, I would have joined in the standing ovation for a great American who served as President during some of the worst times in American history.

If I would have been there I would have cheered too. I'm quite happy to see him out of office and back with his village.

Amen to that. Like him, love him, or hate him, he showed tremendous support for the troops.

Oh, too funny- you are the same guy who posted in another thread that America needs to elect fiscal conservatives?...and yet you would applaud the guy who practically single-handedly bankrupted the country. Go figure.

Bush's rampant spending ALREADY pales in comparison to your "Chosen One's".

Meanwhile at Camden Yards Joe Biden was relishing the cascade of jeers from the crowd during his stint in the big leagues last night.

Proving the old adage that Texas really is "like another country". A really weird one. I can cheer the fact he's not doing anything to harm the country right now. That's good.
