Default Halliburton exposed

This says it all. Of course, Iran isn't even the enemy, it is simply a political game, which is the point this post makes. If a corporation does not care about its nation, and your government sponsers such corporations, does your government really care about the good of your welfare? Hm...

Halliburton will not suffer any adverse consequences. It's almost as if they have a friend in Washington.

Default Wanna Bet...

...that the supporters of this admin find NOTHING wrong with this? Its all about making money. The adventure in IRAQ is all about money. Freedom, liberation and all those another "wonderful" traits are simply "add-ons"..

What's not to like about having your former CEO running the country?

Default FOREIGN SUBSIDIARIES

Ahh.....you people just continue to prove my point: that you ONLY focus on Halliburton because VP Cheney USED to be their CEO.

Funny how you all glossed right over the fact that it's the LEGAL FOREIGN SUBSIDIARIES WHO ARE DOING BUSINESS THERE????? NOT the American companies. And there were also other companies mentioned.......companies who didn't employ VP Cheney in years past. But of course, YOU don't really care about those. ONLY Cheney's old company.....the one you've sought to demonize since about.....oh, around year 1999, I believe it was.

..in your amalogy, Haliburton has no "responsibility" for its "FOREIGN LEGAL SUBSIDIARY"
Halliburton Products and Services Limited

Why do I even bother?

Great! I officially declare myself a legal foreign subsidiary. This means that I do not have to pay taxes any longer, or go to war when drafted. Thank you. Oh yes, I don't care about the other companies. I don't care about GE doing the same exact crap. What makes you think I don't care about them? They get tons of money from the government too! Who do you think makes all of your military hardware? Oh wait. I GOT IT! GE wants to give Iran money for a few cheap missiles that can take out an American plane and then spend tons on money for new jet engines! Its brilliant! Its almost as good as keeping incandescent lightbulbs all these years!

It's not like this is new, they kept on doing business there when Clinton was in office. Not coincidentally the complaints only arose when Bush was elected. How come we didn't hear or read about these concerns prior? It's only now that they have a friend?

By the way cleanskater, GE doesn't make missles. Their sales were production equipment used in mostly metals manufacturing. Companies should be embarrased to sell there. GE was and the sales have stopped.

I never said GE made the missiles, I said that they are giving Iran money to buy missiles, very different story. And GE does make engines for many military aircraft, usually with Pratt and Whitney. Who says that no one cared when Clinton was in office by the way? I didn't.

And of course, does it matter if no one cares? It is still wrong. And not only that, even if Clinton ignored this, he didn't supply them with nearly as much funding as Bush and Cheney, so it is an even bigger deal. That is the entire point. If I ignore a killer on the loose, I am still innocent, but if I actually contribute to their machinations, I am guilty as well. And actually, Clinton is guilty as he did help build the military as well. I could care less about Clinton, I'm not a Democrat. Are you gonna accuse Nader of something? That is who I voted for. What's your point?
