I am not appologizing for the Byrd or the Klan. I just want the truth out and the Klan connections to be discussed in the context of what hapenned.

And since he has been brought up, I have to say he has changed as much as Strom Thurmond before his death. That never stopped anyone from going after Strom and Lott. So spare us the happy thoughts on how Byrd changed. The only thing Byrd changed was his delivery and calling white people the N word. He's a nut pure and simple.
