Back when Pakistan was evil (on 9/10) we were firmly on India's side in regard to their on-going conflict. So selling them planes would fit.

Fail to mention the $3 Billion in aid that goes with the fighters.

As far as India, we have offered to sell them fighters too, but they have not bought any yet.

It's amazing how much the Pakistani government has changed since 9/10! Remarkable really.
