Default Not ONE Republican Senator defended Bolton

all they said was, "Bush deserves his choice." that was the ONLY positive thing they could say about him.

We've all worked for jerks and this guys appears to be the ultimate jerk.

NONE of the Republicans said they got it wrong about Bolton. They know he's a jerk - even a few of themn admitted he would have gotten fired in the "private sector" (coincidently, that is one of the Republican principals about private vs. government workers - hypocrisy).

They even said there was always soemone who was above him who "put him back in his place."

Will Bush/Rove be able to do that?

Default ???

Too funny! IF being a jerk disqualifies someone from public service, then that would be the end to many of YOUR favorite Democrat Senators!!!

As Republican Senator George Allen said.....

""We are not electing Mr. Congeniality. We do not need Mr. Milquetoast. We're not electing Mr. Peepers to go there and just be really happy, and drinking tea with their pinkies up and just saying all these meaningless things when we do need a straight talker, and someone who's going to go there and shake it up."
Sen. George Allen, R-Va.

Or perhaps you haven't been reading about the UN Oil-For-Food Scandal.....the UN sexual abuses....and the total ineffectiveness of the UN???

Default We need no bulldog in the UN!

What we need is to send out eviction notices, and re-invite, all free-democratic nations, to re-assemble. I thought the whole purpose of the UN was to promote world peace? There is no world peace with rogue nations and dictators! The UN as it stands is simply another bureaucracy that is embezzling money from the American taxpayer!!! We don't need any tea totalers, we need mercenaries to get a hold on this situation. Even though Bolton has the qualifications, he does not have the temperament, for a sensitive diplomatic position, evidently many republicans agree, but they are under party control. Maybe he would be better suited as the head of the border patrol?? We certainly need less diplomacy in that direction!

Default The UN deserves for us to send a jerk...

actually, they deserve more than that, they deserve us to knock down that building and send them elsewhere. What a worthless organization.

Default What will she say about Joe?

Ah, Senator Boxer praised the Ohio Senator for breaking ranks with the Republican Party and criticizing Bolton. She thought it was a real courageous thing to do, and he showed real class and statesmanship by doing it.

What do you think the odds are of her lavishing similar words of praise upon Joe Liberman when he breaks ranks with the demos and votes to confirm Bolton?

Default and you don't

"She thought it was a real courageous thing to do, and he showed real class and statesmanship by doing it. "

Sounds like true representative government rather than party-line politics. Harder for a Republican to break ranks than a Democrat. Demos do it all the time (and are free to do so). Republicans are punished for voting their conscience.

Default name one

Name one demo that breaks rank, in either the house or senate. You can't and you won't. Demo's are unpeelable. They are in unison in having no plan, no vision and no to anything put forth by W.

MORE hilarity from Kaladrew.

Why do you think the new Democrat Senator Salazar nor towing the Democrat party line on filibusters.........despite his promise during his campaign? BECAUSE he's been told too. Just gotta love that..." true representative government rather than party-line politics." Right, Kal???
