Another case of the race card recklessly being pulled. If you took the two candidates and compared their resume's side by side it wouldn't even be a contest on who would get the job. But because Motley is black and Collins is white, the decision to hire Collins certainly must mean racism was involved. What's interesting is no one lists a single qualification outside divesity. Comments like this ''We have a diverse city, but aside from a few token members, that diversity is not reflected among the chief decision-makers around town." Racism is being practiced here all right, by the NAACP and the black and hispanic lawmakers who suggest that someone be hired simply for the color of their skin. That is racism by definition.
