OK JP, name any member of the Intel Committees who have spoken on record about what specifically Panetta briefed them on.

The sounds of crickets chirping can be so tranquil.

The only people talking positively about specifics of this shiny object of a ruse are anonymous former CIA or Bush Admin officials.

The BS they are spouting is not classified because it is all lies. That is why they are spewing it.

This is nothing but a fight between Panetta and the House about what he said back in May....that the CIA does not mislead Congress. That was said in response to Pelosi's comment that the CIA lied. This is so clearly all about trying to save Pelosi's butt. And the fact that 7 Democrats in that Intelligence briefing with Panetta demanded this from him says it all:

"Schakowsky said that the recent meeting with Panetta was an "incredibly serious briefing." Following the meeting, seven House Democrats wrote a letter to Panetta urging him to retract an earlier statement he'd made, in which he assert that it is not the CIA's "policy or practice" to mislead the Congress. In response, CIA spokesman George Little appeared to concede that the Panetta had told the committee that CIA had, in practice, misled Congress in the past, but that Panetta had been the one to alert Congress to it in the briefing.

"As the letter from these six representatives notes, it was the CIA that took the initiative to notify the oversight committees," Little said.
Little, however, said that such an inference is incorrect. "Director Panetta did not say--and I didn't either--that the CIA misled Congress," he told the Huffington Post."

So....even despite their demanding letter to Panetta, they still cannot get the CIA spokesman Little or Panetta to say the CIA misled Congress. That mean Pelosi is the liar here. They are right back where they began.

AND yes....those 7 Democrats present in the meeting while they claim they didn't give specifics, they did. They said it was a secret program that the CIA had lied about for 8 years under Cheney's direction. I'm sure that's just their embellished interpretation of what they heard....but they ran out with the information, FIRST giving the copy of their letter to Hoestra to the press, even before giving it to him.

It's a shameful act. And it's really not gotten them what they expected. Pelosi's butt is still out there on the line with the CIA, calling them liars.
And she can't prove it.

Did you know that the CIA in July of 1963 was using a manual titled

"KUBARK COUNTERINTELLIGENCE INTERIGATION" (SOURCE - George Washinton University website)

and that the CIA in 1983 was using a manual titled

"HUMAN RESOURCE EXPLOTATION MANUAL" (SOURCE - George Washinton University website)

... just in case some people want to get a feel for the process which the CIA used
