I hate to say it.....but this is EXACTLY what we need here to get the ball rolling with citizens as far as conserving and changing the kinds of cars we drive. When gas is cheap....those Hummers look good. When gas is high......those Hummers aren't so attractive.

..with China's economy expanding at an exponential rate, and an ever-increasing demand for fossil fuel, and a finite amount of said fuel, anyone that thinks that the price of gas will come down significantly is living in fantasyland. It is a perfect example of supply and demand.

Oil will be north of $80-90 a barrel sooner rather than later, with the corresponding increase in the price of gasoline.

There may well be slight dips in that price, but for the foreseeable future the price of oil/gas will continue to rise.
