Technically it has.
You are using a relative definition. "Poverty" in the US is not the same as "poverty" elsewhere. The US has welfare programs in place that ensure that no child starves, or doesnt have housing or doesnt have education. If you have an example to the contrary, post it.
You will need to define "poverty" in this context. Not haveing an X-Box or PS-3 doesnt = poverty.

I agree. Post your evidence that children are starving in America.
If anything the roblem in America is that children eat
too much, not that they dont eat enough. This isnt the 1920s.
