As predicted, the PRC is not interest simply in deterring Taiwan. They dont need ICBMs to bring Taiwan to heel.
So all you anti-NMD people tell me please...who do you think China is going to point those ICBMs at. No, their military build up is not about Taiwan alone. Quote:

The risk of accidental launch increases if the deploy more ICBMs. Everyone who is saying that China's only concern was boosting their military to handle Taiwan is wrong...they dont need ICBMs to handle Taiwan. ICBMs are only used at global ranges.
In short...we were RIGHT to continue funding NMD. |

If we, the United States can develop Nuclear weapon, WMD, Long-range missiles... why can other country do the same. With our standard, DO we believe that our country is the only country trust worthy for not using those dangerous weapons against other countries without immediate threats? We scream and cry out loud whenever other countries are developing something that we have already had for defense reason.
To invade Iraq is simply sending a message to the rest of the world that we cannot be trusted. In order to protect your own country you need to start developing weapons that can protect your country from our invasion in the future. |
