Yep. "Pound sand"....that's what I want him to tell them!!

I am not a fan of Kennedy, but I believe that many of the Bush fans here would be offended if someone joked about Laura Bush's driving record. Kennedy isn't the only one who has killed with his car.

Default Chappaquiddick Ted & Bush are both former drunks

No I am not. Ted is simply an old drunk Catholic
Actually Chappaquiddick Ted's new younger replacement wife has banned him from drinking, running around with other younger chick, and hanging with Senator Dodd ( another former drunk , and new husband of a younger chick , and new father).

So Chappaquiddick Ted and your hero have one thing in common, they are both former drunks !!!!!!

So what? Did that make the victim any less dead?

Laura is a public figure. I just wanted to point out to Barney that people on both sides of the political line can make mistakes and have accidents.

was drunk and left someone to die like a coward. One might have been able to be saved the other could not. One person ran the other did not. One was an accident and the other was not. Ted's "accident" was no more an accident than any other person who decides to be drunk while behind the wheel. Apples and porcupines.

Hardly comparable. Laura Welch was a 17-year old....no alcohol involved.....purely an "accident."

Teddy Kennedy was a grown married man....driving a young, single, pretty campaign worker to a secluded "parking" spot for a little hanky-panky....when he drove off a bridge and flipped the car over into the water. And who swam out of that car......got someone to drive him home where he contacted his LAWYER first and NOT the police. At a minimum that's called "leaving the scene of an accident." And Kennedy's concern for himself and his political career outweighed the life of this young woman. He eventually paid off her family.....and because he's a Kennedy, the police let it go.

Not even the least comparable.

Default So, whose car would you rather

ride in as a passenger, alone and late at night--Laura or Ted? If it's Ted, it's a good idea to wear your bathing suit and a life jacket. As for me, I would opt to ride with Laura.

I would prefer riding with Laura of course. Of course, if I were driving through an intersection with the choice of Laura or Ted driving a car crossing my path, I would opt for Ted.

Default PJ would ride with Ted!

You are a very foolish person. And most alone in your choice. While your at it, why not take some swimming lessons from Ted?
