California court rules same sex couples due same benefits

I'm guessing this case works its way to the supreme court. Unless they refuse to hear it citing it as a state's right's case. Interestingly enough, I read another opinion which said this ruling could help the California case which outlaws same sex marriage. The reason to oppose it is that it denies rights to those couple who are of the same sex. This ruling invalidates that concern.
