Nice. But definitely told from the Palestinian point of view.

Why and how are Palestinians not permitted to rebuild or renovate property?

Superb, some real good stuff. Awful seeing the picture of the Israeli settlers living above the Palestinian street and throwing their rubbish down on them, kinda sums up the whole conflict nicely.

Default On the other hand...

All the photos of Palestinians show them as happy smiling people...all the Jews are evil gun toting oppressors.

I note you didn't show any of these sorts of photos:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/3..._baby300ap.jpg - Baby suicide bomber

http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/3...toyguns150.jpg - the indoctrination in violence starts early...

http://www.latimes.com/media/photo/2005-08/19018450.jpg - Israeli soldiers force settlers away from their homes...

http://www.latimes.com/media/photo/2005-08/19015643.jpg - a woman cries as she is forced to leave her home.

http://www.latimes.com/media/photo/2005-08/18957962.jpg Members of Hammas celebrate their victory over the settlers.

I have come to believe the Jews and the Palestinians deserve each other...they are inextricably linked, the yin and the yang...

Default Indeed.

What would one do without the other? There is plenty of blame to go around. And you could spend all day going tit for tat on links showing one or the other doing bad things.

Ok, this guy posted a link to his friends trip to Palestine, and you guyst start bithing about him not posting pictures of bad things happening.......Why would his friend go around searching for badthings in Palestine?
This isnt a political topic. Hes posting pics of Palestine. Given none of us have been there, one would think some of you people would use this as an opportunity to actually SEE the place you always bash, and not just on biased media coverage, whatever that bias may be.

Thanks for the photos, bro. I really enjoyed seeing your friends adventure. Maybe when things settle down over there I'll take a trip and tour around. Looks like it has a lot of beautiful sites. TGhat B'hai temple especially!!! B'hai really interests me.....I'd like to learn more about it!!!

- Peace

Default is there such a thing as a "Palestine?"

I've heard some muslims even question where that term and the term "palestinian" came from.

Palestinian is the name created in 1964 to identify Arabs in Israel. Unfortunately iits a false name if you know its history. THe word Palestine was given to the region by the Romans after the Jewish revolt in a way to humiliate the Jews. Palestine was named after the ancient Philistines who invaded Israel hundreds of years before Christ. The British kept the name when they took over of the region and it was then applied in the UN Resolution.

However the arabs in Israel and Palestine have no link whatsoever to the ancient Philistines. The ancient Philistines were sea raiders coming from Cyprus and some Greek cities.

Deja-vu. Nice pictures.
How did you get to the occupied territories? I thought they are still closed to all those without permits.

If you read the captions, they are indeed political. If they aren't political, and to be discussed, why not post them in the section for other stuff?

But they are here, in a section for political discussion, which puts them in a different realm than normal vacation photos.
