Shehan said " I was shoved around." '"I think their use of force was pretty excessive for someone that didn't have a permit," Sheehan

"Paul Browne, spokesman for the New York Police Department, said Sheehan had finished speaking when officers arrested Zulkowitz, who had been repeatedly warned that he didn't have a permit.
Zulkowitz was charged with unauthorized use of a sound device and disorderly conduct. He was given a court summons and released. "

That quote apparently contradicts the headline of this story as posted by the AP.

Well if she was allowed to complete her speech than there was no harm done to her first amendment rights. I guess that the Anti War organizers better know the laws in New York City before setting up rallies.

NYC just don't give no break to them liberal fellers, does it!!!!!

It does sound like a setup, doesn't it? Think about it. If they had a permit and the police did not get involved, would we even have heard of the speech at all? I think not. They get their headlines and poor little Cindy gets to play victim.

Sean Hannity disturbs my peace, he also makes me sick, but I still think he has the right to go into a public square if he wants to and spew his garbage. As a person who believes in freedom of speech, I would have to tolerate listening to this kook on a microphone.
