Default Rally to support Iraq war draws hundreds

Rally to support Iraq war draws hundreds
Organizers had hoped for far larger response to Saturday’s D.C. protest

WASHINGTON - Support for U.S. troops fighting abroad mixed with anger toward antiwar demonstrators at home as hundreds of people, far fewer than organizers had expected, rallied Sunday on the National Mall just a day after a massive protest against the war in Iraq.

Most people can't just take off and fly to Washington D. C. Most people have jobs and a life. Those who were in attendance at the anti-war rally pretty much looked like that had neither!!

But not to worry: most of us were very much with the supporting group....even though we didn't fly there.

You hard working, decent Americans can't get away to Washington, but the dirty jobless hippies can. Is that Right?

there must be a lot of drugged out hippes around, the Saturday march drew a lot more than what was reported.

CNN initially said that 500k attended, then later they said that tens of thousands attended.

I know some hard working people who went to DC on 5pm on Friday evening. Anyone who labels the abnti-war demonstrators as unemployed hippies needs to get out more. There were some Republicans there too who are tired of W.

Bush stole the 2004 elections.

Diebold who makes the electronic voting systems for Ohio, promised W that he'd win Ohio for the GOP. some democracy there. even worse than purple fingered democracy.

i was joking, kerry was also pro war just he had to do it to be right, kerry was a war criminal, and kerry is a zionist jew in disguise. nonetheless the election may have been stolen, but the fact of the matter is who was put to run against criminal bush,.

I've never really agreed with you but certainly respect your right to speak your mind. But this is a cheap shot and surprised that you stooped to insults.

Tsk tsk.
