Default Chavez off to N Vietnam after visiting Iran.

"Iran-Venezuela-President
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez wound up an official two-day visit to Iran and left here for Hanoi, Vietnam, Sunday night.

Chavez, who led a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, was officially seen of by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

During the ceremony, national anthems of the two countries were played and the two presidents reviewed a guard of honor.

After the official ceremony, the Venezuelan president was seen off at Tehran Mehrabad International Airport by Minister of Industries and Mines Alireza Tahmasbi.

While in Tehran, Chavez held talks with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, President Ahmadinejad, Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and Defense Minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar.

President Ahmadinejad granted the country's most prestigious award, the medal of honor of the Islamic Republic, to Chavez on behalf of the Iranian nation.
Senior Iranian and Venezuelan officials Sunday signed 11 documents for cooperation in presence of Chavez and Ahmadinejad.

Later, the two president attended a joint press conference.
Chavez visited `Iran Khodro' auto manufacturing company earlier Sunday."

Chavez seems to have quite the ego.

I hope we're playing him correctly.

If not, he could turn into a fairly dangerous character at some point.
