I found some interesting stats:

TEN WORST LARGE CITIES FOR MURDER, 2002

CITY...................PER 100,000

(1) Washington, DC 45.8
(2) Detroit 42.0
(3) Baltimore 38.3
(4) Memphis 24.7
(5) Chicago 22.2
(6) Philadelphia 19.0
(7) Columbus 18.1
(8 ) Milwaukee 18.0
(9) Los Angeles 17.5
(10) Dallas 15.8

TEN SAFEST LARGE CITIES FOR MURDER, 2002

CITY...........PER 100,000

(1) Honolulu 2.0
(2) El Paso 2.4
(3) San Jose 3.1
(4) Austin 3.7
(5) San Diego 3.8
(6) Portland 3.9
(7) Seattle 4.5
(8 ) New York 7.3
(9) San Francisco 7.3
(10) Oklahoma City 8.5

At first glance, it seems that cities with a large black population are in the top 10 worst and cities with a small black population are in the top 10 best with the possible exception of NYC.

I don't think there should be gun control, for 1 crazy reason! The constitution!!

Putting the constitution aside, the argument that banning guns will make a difference to me is false! If there is a will to acquire something, people will find a way to get it! So this would mean that criminals have guns, and normal people don't! It is the same reason, I think drugs should be legalized, because people will get drugs either way, we are just creating a whole new set of criminals(and ones who hurt no one but themselves!)

I don't personally own a firearm(I do have a license though) but I will still defend peoples right to own a gun completely!

or,
b. NH, where if you pull a gun theres a good chance 10 guns will be pulled on you.
thats why people in DC should have guns.
Remember, theres an inverse ratio between crime rates and gun ownership in any given state.

Actually, I have seen statistics which favor both side of this issue, but one thing cannot be doubted. If I have a gun (actually, I have a few), I won't be a statistic under ANYBODY's methodology. Let the anti-gun crowd try and spin that. They can't. LOL.
