Cool Bush five years Later on Iraq

Here is Bush's speech on five years

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/...raq/index.html

Don't get me wrong I was for the removal of Saddam, I am for a better world. But I maintain it was something that had to be done, but it was no threat to America. But it was something that had to be done, It would have been easier if at least there was a brigade of Iraqi exiles had been involved for legitimacy purposes. Paris was freed by De Gaulle, it was symbolic though everyone knows it was the Americans and British.

Are you aware how cruel Saddam really was,

The ironic thing is that when America was supporting Saddam refugees fleed to Iran, the sole supporter of the Shiites was Iran. Suddenly the USA says Iran is an enemy of Iraq, I mean Saddan had to go, but America has been full of double/ triple standards. most of those shiites would have died were it not for Iran not America.
