Default No?

There doesn't have to be a moral justification? Wow. Might makes right. Can't argue with that.

Default .

Believe it or not I'm on you're side on this one. Don't get me wrong, I think the system SHOULD be morally responsible - I've simply resigned myself to the fact that it never will be.

Default Random thought

Imagine a world where drugs are legalized and the "Pot-head" lobby is one of th strongest in Washington. I can see it now. When you go in to buy a bong, some guy tries to get you to register to vote.

This might even be the most direct route to a viable third party.

Yeah, but they'd never be able to remember what they stood for, other than having the munchies.

Default bah

i dont think that there should be any laws that are enacted 'for our own good'. This gives the government waay too much power to use and/or abuse in any way they wish, not to mention causing many deaths, torn apart families in the process of enforcing it. It strains police resources so that they are so busy chasing harmless stoners that they cant get to catching murderers and rapists.

IMHO, the government shouldnt send you to jail for years just for putting any certain chemical in your body, or having certain plants. how is that for your own good? if you want to go do something 'immoral' that doesnt harm anyone else, then you shouldnt get jailed for it. Might as well outlaw drinking for all the good itll do.

I believe it was George Washington who said "Never make a rule you can't enforce."

I think that applies to this issue.

And I agree.

the yin yang symbol.

I agree, it's cool. If I had seen it earlier, I would have taken it.

Drugs... legalize all of them.
