Trust me, you effect others around you with your substance use/abuse.
If the substances were legal, controlled and accessible most these side effects on families etc wouldn't exist. The impacts are largely based on the legality.

Most people in here are correct, If it grows naturally, why is it illegal.
Pot is much less harmful than alcohol but it has not been culturally accepted so its illegal.
MAn-made drugs should be illegal but people who are against pot are only people who have never encountered it. The are so close-minded that they will never entertain the thought of it not being as bad as they think.
If all the police force attcking pot would go towards bad drugs. We could do alot better job of controlling those harmful drugs.

As a person with natural rights living in a free society, I should have the ability to do whatever I want to my body as long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of others. So that encompasses drugs, alcohol, prostitution and so forth.

Or like that new safety belt law. I have the right not to wear a safety belt. It is my prerogative and hurts nobody else.
