This is a joke, another example of the nanny state. They don't want me smoking because I might get cancer and then be unproductive!

Hiding cigarettes in stores, what a joke since the government tax a pack of smokes by 80% over here and smoking is basically supporting the NHS and 'War on Terror'. I smoke for Britain!!!

I'm not sure why it's a bad idea? Smoking isn't just harmful to the person doing it, the medical and other costs make it harmful to the whole.

They did that this year in Ontario & Quebec. Without all the cigarette packages behind the counters and the adverts in the stores, convenience stores look like they are going out of business. There is no colour in the stores.
