I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I don't much like expansions of government regualtion... but on the other hand most of these regulations seem fair.
Though I'm not sure the problem I have is with jacked-up interest rates after late payment... as much as the companies seeming to very regularly send bills very close to their due date (somehow I don't think it's coincidental).
Many of the practices of credit card companies are despicable to put it lightly and I don't feel sorry for them.
What consequences could come out of this? Credit card companies might be less likely to give out too-good-to-be-true card deals to people who are credit risks...Good.
