hello everyone! I am a Georgian and I decided to write to this forum because I want the rest of the world to know the first-hand truth about current happenings in my country. I thought I must do it because independent media of Georgia doesn't work owing to an emergency state introduced by Saakashvili yesterday, when pro-Saakashvili TV channels and newspepers will only publish censored information which means they will not give full information on the present and real posture of affairs in my country.
first of all, common citizens of Georgia and Tbilisi like me call the current happenings in Georgia none other than tyranny of president Saakashvili and Georgian police. giving an outward glance, this is a mere outrage and complete lawlessness! nowadays there is hardly anyone in my country who wants Saakashvili stay in power. we all want him to resign and that is why there were so many people on the Rustavi Square protesting against Saakashvili.
it was all peaceful and quiet during the first four days of the open-ended protest action. and then the police turned into action. we know that president Saakashvili gave an order to police to disperse demonstrators after he consulted Washington. so that is in the first hand Washington that must be responsible for what took place in Tbilisi yesterday. the police began to use brute force against demonstrators when I was among them. it was a terrific beat up! the police used not only rubber truncheons but also rubber projectiles and even combat weapons! exactly that's why there were so many wounded among us – over three hundred people with gunshot wounds and over 2000 people with minor injuries. I even heard that three people were shot to death.
what was most surprising for us, our protest demonstration was dispersed not only by police and special task force but also but a group of strangerly-looking people dressed in sportswear or civil clothes or even prison-garbs (these were fighting with especial mercilessness)! we believe that these were jailbirds who agreed to cooperate with the police for amnesty! so now you can see what methods our president uses to rule the country! no, he is not the one who deserves being president and we want him resign right now! we hope that people in Washington understand that they must not interfere with our domestic affairs anymore for it will result in a great civil war and terrific bloodshed!

One question - how do you know they consulted with Washington before the crackdown with riot police? Do you have verifiable evidence?
