A word of warning, though: left-libertarianism is a broad term that encompasses left-rothbardianists, libertarian socialists, anarcho-communists, and mutualists.

The page does bring up some interesting viewpoints.
If you take into account the realities of humanity. A company in a position of power would not dare abuse its position when its main means of profit are not under their control. If you consider land to be a commodity of private enterprise while natural resources the property of the people. This opens up a channel of control over abusive monopolies wherein anyone who wants to take a raw natural resource from the store of the people they must "purchase" it. In turn the resources become their property to use and develop as they see fit. Direct taxation would therefore not be required. All necessary services can be provided by the natural act of economic activity. This also means that anyone can enter a market equally where the cost of being within a market is based on market share. Oh such a system would be bliss under the control of the right people! Now if only we could stomp out corruption. |

The "church" of Keynes is no worse than the church of Mises, Friedman, Samuelson, Veblen or Marx.
And Keynes' work was bastardised very early on beginning with Hicks in the late 1930s and brought back into the neoclassical orbit, the only Keynesians which are really that close to Keynes are the post-keynesians and people liek Nicky Kaldor, Geoff Harcourt, Joan Robinson etc etc |
