The falling dollar will stop falling as soon as we stop cutting interest rates. Once we start raising interest rates, the dollar will start rising again. Plain and simple.

I agree. They should instigate immediately CO2 taxes on fuel such that the price of fuel at the pump would rise at least 50% and preferably 100%. Unfortunately, the members of congress are as clueless as the majority of the US on science and will at best only care about their reelection.
