The new Zogby poll is out. What is notable is the following:

1) President Bush's approval has dropped to a record low of 23%. To put this in perspective, Nixon's was at 28% just before he resigned.

2) Approval of Congress is just 11%.

I don't know what Bush and the Congress have to crow about when they do their press conferences. They all absolutely suck. How are they going to spin this new poll? Probably by telling us that, in perspective, they are doing great. After all, bin Laden's approval rating is zero. But give them time. They will catch up to bin Laden soon enough. LOL.

I find polls to be useless since the sampling is usually about .000000003% of the population.

I still say that there should be no place for career politicians in America.

Not only is their sampling tiny, but I believe most polls are subjective in who they ask, for what questions.

If you want a negative poll about George Bush, then take a poll at Harvard, or some other off-the-left-edge-of-the-table college. If you want a negative poll about democrats, take a poll at an old-folks home in the Midwest.

Yeah, but democrat controlled congress has a lower approval than Bush. I think this is about right, I haven't met anyone that says our country is going in the right direction.
