University Committee Recommends Firing Ward Churchill

I was angered at his "little Eichmans" comment, but the freedom of speech goes out to leftwing nutjobs too. Later, when I found out he got his job by fraud and padding his resume to say he was something he wasn't... that was grounds enough for his dismissal.

It's about time the university he worked for got off their butts and did something about him.

Well said, Senax. Churchill is an idiot -- and, apparently, a fraud. But the latter is the only grounds for firing him.

Never heard of the guy but went looking for some stuff about him since I smelled Zionist agent. Sure enough he is a U.S. basher. His main deal is making the U.S. feel guilty about what Nazi's we are for what we did to the Indians. Of course he compares that to the Holocaust. He bashes Christians, Nazi's and the U.S. while never saying anything bad about Communism.

Like many agent provacatures he never let's on he is or has any dealings with Zionist until you happen to find what he says on his web site tucked away about the Holocaust.

He of course through his front as an Indian supporter even goes to Arab Countries looking for support. He claims to be of Cherokee Ancestry which even the Cherokees debunk.

Y'know rota, not having heard of Ward Churchill despite the fact that he's been front page news more than once this past year or two is indicative of something.

You should read more than conspiracy theory websites. Get out more. Even if you think it's "zionist controlled," you should try reading a newspaper more often. I think they're liberally biased, but I still read them. If you understand that when you read them, you can still glean the news from the sources.

He's a nothing...nobody. It makes a lot of sense a great mind like myself would never cluter my mind with anything about the guy.

Hell he didn't even seem to have the degrees necessary to have his position. No wonder the students today seem so dumbed down.

Anyway I don't think my reading habits should come into question here anyways. I think maybe some of you should go to some conspiracy sites and maybe they wouldn't be so gullible and let these kind of people slip under the radar. That is if he didn't have a lot of help getting where he was.

The issue is "research misconduct and plagiarism".

Hmm.... didn't they already try to nail him once before, on the exact same charges?

I don't read much about Mr. Ward either. But if he did commit academic fraud, he should definitely be fired.

Other than that, it seems to me that no one really pays any attention to him anyway (except perhaps for Fox News).

I heard of Ward Churchhill from O'Reilly a few years back. I don't see why this guy is a big deal, he just seems like a typical low-life running his mouth. I guess the fact hes a prof is getting him so much attention.

The US should really impliment laws to prevent people like this from publicly bashing racial and ethnic groups. This Churchhill is a true disgrace. Hopefully hes fired from his job, but that still won't stop him from doing evil things.

You mean limit the freedom of speech? No thanks. I prefer it the way it is. The idiots usually out themselves and as in Ward Churchill, get found out for the frauds that they are. It's kinda' like Darwinism of the literary/intellectual world.

I think most of us agree here. Chrchill should be fired for his fraud, not for his inflammatory politics. As it turns out, the very thing he used to get attention will be what calls attention to his wrongdoings. I have no real problem with his thesis. It's poorly thought out and purposely inflammatory and really just a more volatile version of the older "blowback" thesis. I used to defend him when people said he should be fired for making those inflammatory claims.
But now that we're talking about his lying, cheating, and overall stupidity... fire him.

Of course, now that he's famous he'll be able to write books about his experience and make more money than he would as a professor.
