Education is really the founding of the future. This is a given I believe. Just think, eventually the older generations will die. What happens then? Do we leave behind a generation of young, stupid, and completely helpless people? As of the moment, about 30% of our budget is going toward medicare/medicade, and about 28% is being used for out military. This is quite honestly stupid. I’m not sure about you, but I would like my children to have every opportunity in education, because when I go, I want my kids to have a great life, with every benefit possible. Right now, the state of Michigan is cutting education again. Over the last 5 years, there has been over 5 million dollars lost in cuts per-school ! This is quite unacceptable. Class sizes have sky-rocketed up to over 30 students per teacher, with some of our best and brightest teachers being laid off as well. I know that there needs to be something done about this, and I am now asking for your replies, and hopefully your support as well.
