That is what our education is. It's not visible and hasn't been, but that's what it is. Or you could call it propaganda, either way you wanna look at it. One example, FDR, just look into how he broke the Constitution. (hint: term limits to start with)

There were no term limits in the Constitution when FDR was in power. They did not come in until 1951,after he had been dead for 6 years.

FDR was the reason we got term limits for the President. It's a shame they didn't keep going.

But, I agree, education has, in some respects, always been about indoctrination or propoganda. I grew up thinking President Lincoln freed the slaves in the U.S. with the Emancipation Proclamation. It was years before I learned that wasn't true.

But, it's gotten much, much worse in the last 50 years. I watched a ten-year old boy crying on television as he explained that the world would blow up in five years due to pollution. I hated the bastards that taught him that. Another kid was shown saying that his teach had explained that if George Bush was elected he would bring slavery back. My son's history teacher taught that the Holocaust never happened.

I think it's much worse since the unions have taken over education.

I agree. However, IMO the degredation of the USA's pathetic publc education system is a result of the ignorant greedy complacent clowns that have been running the public school system for decades.

As a result, we see the end result of a huge fail of slow, retarded american public school educated kids that have no ability to compete in the real world, and the world in general. The best they can do is become teachers or educators and feed right back into the huge failure of a public education system.

Hell, no accountability, few work hours, great pay, no physical or mental stress, safety, and easy work. What else can a USA public school education system worker want. After all, they have unions and associations, that make massive money off taxpayers to protect their pay raises and retirement benifits.
