Hi there everyone. I am currently in college and am doing a research paper on the apathetic vote and need some statistics. I was wondering why people do not in elections. There are about 70 million people who are eligible to vote, but don't. This is aimed towards people that don't vote or to those that didnt vote in a certain election for a certain reason. Please choose the main reason why you didn't or don't vote from the poll.

Was it Will Rogers who said: "I don't vote for Politicans, it only encourages them" ?

I don't vote, because I don't engage in irrational acts. No election I ever could have voted in would have a changed outcome if I voted - therefore I don't vote.
