I think Edwards has a better shot than him... but he's got name recognition over all the lower Democrat contenders...
Strangely I like him barely better than Hillary... and I might like him better than Obama, say if Obama doesn't get some substance real soon... but, hell, I'd sooner vote for any of the other Crats running... and I'm pretty sure the entire Crat base is slapping their foreheads collectively as Kerry takes the stage.
