McCain believes in setting up an "association of likeminded nations" for the purpose of peace. He acknowledges our need to listen to other democracies and build stronger alliances. Another reason to support him in the likely situation that Biden loses the Crat primary (I have full faith that McCain will take the Pub candidacy)

Ya know, everyone is bagging on the Hildabeast for leaning right, to whore for votes. McCain is doing the exact same thing, only leaning to the left. |

That's true. They did steal it from teddy. The only difference is Teddy didn't talk so softly in times of war. He didn't say that when we were at war because he understood that war means action. Personally, I don't think our democratic allies are worth much anymore.

+1 point for innovation and leadership...but it doesn’t outweigh the things I dislike about him.
A couple more things like this and I might consider voting for him in ’08 (assuming he wins the primary)

McCain is not my primary choice for president. But he and Giuliani are the ones most likely to win Republican nomination. So if it comes down to it, I'd take him over Giuliani now.
Condoleeza Rice doesnt look like she is going to run, but my secondary choice (Newt Gingrich) might. So we'll see. I'd still take either one of them over McCain. But McCain has definitely scored a few more points with me. |
