Default John Edwards gives black people a choice

Un-freakin'-believable.

What's the over/under on Al or Jesse coming to get a piece of this? He's a socialist, so the odds are pretty slim. I'm sensing a free pass from the mainstream media coming.

Can't blame the democrats. Convincing people they are victims in need of saving has worked so far.

And...I was right.

No sign of those two race-baiters anywhere. I guess a white man CAN haul off and say some outrageous stuff about black folks...just as long as he's a liberal.

I will admit, I am dissappointed in the republicans for not reaching out to Black voters. Granted this is likely not a great year to do so with a mormon running and Giuliani isn't exaclty a family values crusader. Black people have good reason to hate mormons, not that Romney is deserving of that animosity. I have heard stories of mormons going door to door telling blacks that if they repent their grandchildern might be born white.

The democrats solution to black issues is throwing money and special treatment at them. Isn't that somewhat insulting to a black voter? Like really insulting.

I think a republican like Mike Huckabee could really reach out to the black community. I get the impression that a great number of African Americans feel that the primary issues to the demographic could be solved through stronger community and family values through relligion. You have to remember the black community was at one point in time was nearly entirely republican. Switching to the right, that would take African Americans rejecting the pandering of the Democrats. Somehow I don't see that as likely.

Really? I guess I was at work the day they were throwing money and giving out special treatment.

I think a republican like Mike Huckabee could really reach out to the black community.

Is this from the same family of Gov. Huckabee that tried to keep out the Little Rock Nine.

What impression do you get would help white america solve her problems?

Yea that was before most of the racist jumped ship and became Republicans. Neither party actually helps black america republican or democrat. Somehow you are probably right.

peace.

Yeah, I have no idea what that claim is about.

http://michiganredneck.blogspot.com/...ttle-rock.html

Considering Huckabee attended the 50th anniversary of the little rock nine event a few days ago to show he is committed to civil rights...

He was also there at the 40th anniversary.

You realize that democrats were the ones trying to keep schools segregated and a republican president ordered the doors opened for the little rock nine don't you Superbadbrotha?

Anyway huckabee is a good man and doesn't deserve libel.

Quote:
In 1957, Republican President Dwight Eisenhower ordered federal troops to Little Rock, Arkansas.
In September of that year, a few days after passage of the Republican Party's 1957 Civil Rights Act, Orval Faubus, the Democrat Governor of Arkansas, ordered the state National Guard to prevent the court-ordered segregation of a Little Rock public school. At first, Republican President Dwight Eisenhower tried to negotiate with Faubus, but after several fruitless weeks the President lost patience with his Democrat foe. Eisenhower had not been afraid to take on the Nazis, and he certainly was not going to be fazed by Faubus or any other Democrat challenging the Constitution.
What party is racist again?
