Default Has Hillary Peaked - Not If Media Has Their Way

So Chris Matthews, of Hardball, you want to know if Hillary has peaked or not? Barack Obama is in the lead now in the 'mostly likely to vote caucus' poll of Iowa. Guiliani is starting to be hurt by the far right.

Chris played Saturday Night Live's skit with Hillary supposedly talking to Americans and saying, "a year from you will be going to the polls to elect ME as your President...".

Chris, if Hillary is in the lead, it's because of talk shows like your own, including your Chris Matthew's show on Sunday, have been putting her there since before she even officially announced she was running. Count the minutes Chris. You spent over three fourth of your show on Sunday discussing nothing but Hillary and Bill Clinton. You did it again on Hardball Monday night. There are other candidates sir.

Finally some of you are also pointing out this resolution she signed giving George W. Bush a blank check on Iran - just as she did for Iraq. She's never said she was sorry for her last vote on Iraq and yet we allow her to get away with doing it all over again?

If Americans continue to vote for her after this signing, they deserve everything they get. Sadly, those of us that won't vote for her - will also pay.

Obama is a lightweight compared to Hillary - a chimera, a lib media creation, there's no "there" there. Hillary, when it comes to being a canny politician, is the real deal. She is sucessfully using the "triangulation" method with which Bubba Clinton won two terms as president. Guiliani is hurting Guiliani, with his flip flops and crypto-liberalism - conservatives, not "the far right", are seeing him for what he is.

You ain't seen nuthin' yet . All other candidates pale by comparison, even when given obligatory acknowledgement by the media. With Hillary's familiarity with the public, financial backing, and political prowress she will win both the nomination and the Presidency by a landslide. Get over it.

Actually, after you see what she can do for this country and hence, the world, you will be glad we'll have a leader that cares about helping people more than fighting wars and building stock portfolios. She will solve the healthcare crisis, education, and our tarnished reputation with the UN, Russia, No. Korea, and Iran. You'll see.

Default Hillary - will be a good leader

I never said she couldn't lead with the help of Bill.

I am one of those that doesn't think she can win the General Election.

Heck - just for spite I'd love for the Clintons to win back the White House, just to pay the Bush's back.

But....I want to WIN and I know that once the GOP begin showing Bill's pointing finger to the cameras about not having sex, the videos of Bill kissing Monica in the crowd, the Impeachment trail, White Water, Travel gates, etc..etc.. American's may prefer (as I would) not to go through another 4-8 years of those kinds of stories.

I think it's time to move on from the GREAT Clinton / TERRIBLE Bush years.

Default Hillary has jumped the shark

$5,000 to every baby? I think its becomming fairly apparent where she really stands. Shared Prosperity = redistribution of wealth. If Giullini wins the nomination, he stands a chance by just being the other guy.

If the gallup polls are any indication, Hillary's negatives are about as high as her positives. She effectively is her own worst enemy. Democrats feel they have the election in the bag, but Hillary stands the worst chance of winning in my oppinion. If Obama does not accept a VP nomination, the democrats will lose in 2008.

In fact, a lot can change in a few months. I have a feeling that Hillary will not win the nomination. She polarizes people too much. She is the Howard Dean of 2008.

After the whole 5,000 baby bond comment, I keep thinking of Oprah. I keep looking under my seat for keys to a new car. I think Giuliani put it best when he said Hillary is pandering to the point she must think the American people are stupid.

Haven't you seen how fast the Hsu thing rolled off Hillary's back? No, she has too many supporters in the media for the Reps to gain much traction with dredging up old and meaningless accusations.

Yes, and that's the wave of our present and future. She will redistribute obscene profits to those who most need them. We have evolved far enough as a society to cast off old and inequitable capitalistic concepts in favor of modernizing our society. Hillary does understand this better than any other candidate.

So we shall. I look foward for more commentary from the Giuliani camp. That has been the real gem of the 2008 campainings. Though the Romney comment was classic towards Obama.

“I mean, in one week he went from saying he’s going to sit down, you know, for tea, with our enemies, but then he’s going to bomb our allies,” said Romney. “I mean, he’s gone from Jane Fonda to Dr. Strangelove in one week.”

I'm still laughing

Default ...

I think Hillary is about to see a downward spiral. The problem is that what she loses may not go to one specific candidate. Weakening her isn't enough. Someone else must be strengthened.
I think it's time Edwards step down.
