Default And no one is forcing them too

No one is forcing them to engage in any usage of the word God. If they don't want to say it they can ignore it. But that is not good enough for the ACLU Taliban and the extreme left Taliban. Last time I checked, the word God does not belong exclusively to Christianity. Either do the 10 commandments. So that washes your de facto argument down the sink.

The ACLU and extreme left Taliban are doing all they can to extricate anything related to religion from society. Something the general public is against and something the FF's in no way intended. Much like the Afghan Taliban.

Funny you should talk about zealots, that used to be a Jewish political faction, as I recall, one that prodded the Roman Empire to flatten Jerusalem in 70 A.D. Zealot indeed. And since when do both Jews and Christians get to whittle down a truckload of Mosaic law into just TEN commandments? Any other religion would regard such editorial liberties with a sacred book to be sacrilege.

What all that crap amounts to is state-institutionalized Abrahamism, so what if Jews aren't Christian (Messaianic Jews excepted, of course). Forget state establishment of Abrahamic religion--we should give such state-bestowed preferential privileges as they enjoy to the Buddhists and Falun Gong instead.

Default your point is?

The Constitution says establishment of A religion. Not association with any religion. Neither the 10 commandments establish a religion nor use of the word God (which can be associated with mother nature).

Weasel words. Government is not in the business of religion, nor should it be--nor should any one of the Abrahamist religions get legislative special treatment that other religions don't get in equal measure. The Ten Commandments is a sacrilege of libertine editing of the entirety of Mosaic law anyway.

No. The Afghan Taliban is trying to shove their religion down everyone's throats. Much like the, to use your lead, Bush Taliban.

Somehow, I am able to practice my religion without the 10 commandments being everywhere and without meaningless "Jesus is my co-pilot" bumper stickers on my car. I don't know why other people can't use their religious freedom to worship anyway they want and to leave the rest of us the hell alone.

Speaking of hell, PJO34, one look at the long war-torn history of the Middle East is enough to inform any person whose head is screwed on straight that there isn't a single Abrahamist out there that knows anything about heaven or paradise--their ONLY God-given talent is making hell.

Now these yayhoos want a legal pass to get all in YOUR face to make YOUR life hell. Hell is all they know.
