No big surprise that 2 of the primary anti-Iraq-war candidates, Paul and Obama, are supported most heavily by military donors. McCain, a war veteran, is 3rd. Of course, a record of military folks who donate is not necessarily a represenative sample of the military as a whole, but since some conservatives falsely boast about the right being more charitable, that argument wouldn't help their cause.
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/...s/5223477.html All donations are public record, available through the FEC. Here are a few I found with a quick scan from www.fec.gov. These must be some of Limbaugh's "phony soldiers". http://images.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/fecimg/?27931414656 http://images.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/fecimg/?27931414790 http://images.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/fecimg/?27990254078 http://images.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/fecimg/?27930593598

I am trying to figure out what the "rabid right" response will be..but my head hurts...
Note: I said "rabid right", not Conservatives...Conservatives are a "shrinking lot" these days and it such a shame because conservatives do make a lot of sense. But the rabid right seems to have the voice these days, only matched by the paranoid left. Note: I said "paranoid left" not Liberals..who are also a shrinking lot..
