She wasn't able to "laugh" her way through the criticism in that last debate. Her campaign is going to be working very hard the next couple of weeks to figure out how she should respond to these attacks -- either she'll have to take some stands on issues, or she'll have to figure out a better way to dodge questions -- the latter will be very difficult with all the blood in the water.

Having such a huge lead makes her the target of both parties (and the media, who want to keep things interesting).

They did jump on her (in a manner of speaking ) because she' the frontrunner, but then her website complained about the other candidates "piling on". Imagine if she had to take even 1% of the constant anti-Bush defamation for years from the gene-missing wing of the democrat party - would she get hysterical? As Harry Truman said, if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
