Actually, I'm in Manhattan Beach at the moment. I'm a part time resident of CA and a part-time resident of AZ so I'm back and forth and all over the place ...

Used to live in Hermosa Beach also ... sheesh ... seemed like I've lived all over the south bay.

Yeah I remember the strike in 2003 ??? and it was the stupidist thing I ever heard of ... Vons goes on strike and Ralphs and Albertsons goes out on a sympathy strike. Many people lost their jobs over that one.

I'm good with having a coffee and hearing the band but will have to put it off till things settle down for me ... super busy at the moment and making trips back to AZ nearly every other weekend (managing my properties there) on top of everything else going on here at work.

Well, great!

Yeah, we hang in Redondo, Manhattan, all around there....

Let's see, sometimes in summer we do gigs at Nadja's on the RB pier, or maybe the Pitcher House, stuff like that....

Haven't done that this year though, been too busy with other stuff. We're doin' the biker party at the Rose Bowl, that'll be us on the green there.... Jan 27th I think, something like that (plenty of time to practice.... all that old Steppenwolf and you know, "biker rock", that kinda thing... )...

But yeah, I'm a "commuter" myself, doin' lots of San Francisco runs these days, got two beautiful young-'uns and a dynamite woman up there, so I tries to spend as much time with them as I possibly can.... They're like my one "haven" in this world - everything else is all screwed up at the moment (except for the music, that's going pretty well) - so yeah, I mean, even my own parents, and hers, are givin' us a hard time right now, and we're havin' to go through the same exercise with them as we do in politics (you know, "stand up for your Rights", and all that... )

But yeah, I look forward to meeting you someday. Um... if you're ever at a Ralphs, you know, we'll probably bump into each other....

When things settle down we'll get together ...

I also spend a lot of time in SF ... lived there years ago and also lived in Santa rosa for 3 years and Petaluma ... man do I miss Sonoma county.
