Thread: How could the GOP win in November?

Default How could the GOP win in November?

How could you GOPpers win this November without stripping the franchise from women?

Your Party is the Party of Governor Transvaginal, all male panels on women’s health, and GOPpers booing when a newsman asked the GOPper Primary debaters about birth control.

You GOPpers have gone wild an killed any chance you had

Yet another flame-baiting thread, by the person who does nothing else.

In order to win in November, the GOP only needs to do two things:

    1. Field a good candidate (good luck with that one).

    2. Relentlessly point out what a flip-flopping liar President Obama has been (Gitmo is a perfect example), ad relentlessly point out the TRUTH about our economy (Obama doubling the national debt in 3 years, for instance).

If Americans are still stupid enough to re-elect Obama, we deserve what we will get - and it won't be pretty.

I guess that "truth" is relative.

For instance, Obama did order Gitmo to shutdown but Congress promptly refused to fund it.

The truth about our economy? It's recovering from the worst recessions since the Great Depression even while the Republicans are so heavily invested in the failure of our economies.

As for the debt, the majority of that is a legacy from the previous Administration who decided that it was a great idea to cut taxes on the wealthy and start two long-term wars.

Face it, the Republicans are showing signs of desperation and it's understandable. None of the current contenders stand much of a chance to beat Obama in November and the establishment knows this.

“Social Security has nothing to do with the deficit. Social Security is totally funded by the payroll tax levied on employers and employees. If you reduce the outgo of Social Security, that money would not go into the General Fund to reduce the deficit, that would go into the Social Security Trust Fund. So Social Security has nothing to do with balancing the budget or lowering the deficit.” –Ronald Reagan

If the current national debt is at 15 trillion and it was at 11 trillion when he took office...how is that double?

this post wasn't intended a "baiting", but I see it might be construed as such

......And yet another personal attack on me by you! Can you restrain yourself from that?

    and 2. disenfranchise women.

On the contrary, Santorum bringing his wife's still-births into the Whitehouse would be very "pretty"

(unbelievable, but I have already documented here how he likes taking his wife's still-births home )

Makes sense if you just MAKE UP YOUR OWN NUMBERS.

    $6.3 trillion in January 2009.

This post makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever. Pretty typical.

Maybe if they stopped lying about everything, stopped blaming everyone else for their screw ups and started telling the truth about the economy and how they and their failed policies, tax cuts and wars got us where we are today.
And then tell us some real solutions on how they would fix it instead of more of the same!
Then they would have to find a guy to deliver that message, someone that at least some could get behind.

So, the answer is........they can't win.

So basically, if the Republicans just became liars, they might win.

The problem is... That'd make them Democrats!
