Default South Carolina

It's on Saturday, but I'm already thinking about it.

It looks as if it's gonna be a three-way race between McCain, Huckabee, and Romney. I think Thompson will get his best finish yet, and Rudy will, once again, "sit out" as he waits for Florida.

And unless you're Rudy Giuliani, this very important if you're a Republican.

What thoughts do you guys have?

I think Huckabee will take South Carolina. Not that I want him to, becaus I don't. I just think that there are a lot of dumb/misinformed people in the south (in my humble opinion, I think southerners are too hasty), and will vote for him because they think he's "the most electable."

But we'll see what happens. It might take us all by complete surprise.

Never been a Huckabee fan. But if Olbermann hates him, I'll have to rethink my position.

Huckabee will win I'm thinking. Maybe McCain if he really works at it...
Romney hasn't got a shot 'cause he's one of them Mormons.
Republicans of SC: 70% white evangelical
Democrats of SC: 50% black
It will be a test of which Democrat does best with the black vote or whether Edwards (no civil rights lightweight- the only candidate to ever put his neck on the line to protest segregation) can carry his home state.

Since it's looking like Romney doesn't have much of a shot, I'm really hoping that Huckabee wins to keep McCain down.

That way, Giuliani can jump in front of McCain (if he wins Florida) and the big three can be Romney, Huckabee, and Rudy.

Iowan repeat is what it unfortunately will be,

but in best case scenario for me and the United States of America, is if the fact that the economy is becoming such a threat that people stop being ignorant and judge base on religion. (which is happening, slowly but surely.)

i think the five republicans are going to play some politics. one of them is going to drop out and of their delegates are going to boost one candidate into the lead. i just hope it's not rudy or mccain

Noone has enough Delegates combined to pass Romney, and if you are pooling every other candidates delegates, I think they would pass him by like....5?
