Thread: Ron Paul DROPS OUT

  1. Default

When I saw the news that he was dropping out, I breathed a huge sigh of relief.

Now we can focus on making sure Romney doesn't get elected, instead of having to worry about Backdoor Man Ron Paul sneaking his way into the nomination.

Hopefully he retires after this. Let him go back and treat people free of charge in Texas where he's actually doing some good instead of trying to send the country back to the past in the future.

GREAT SCOTT, what good news this is!
"The whole "us verses them/right verses left" mentality is childish; leave that crap in the sporting arena and understand that political discussions are no place for torrid, angry argument, rather rational dialogue whereby we may deepen and hone our own beliefs. Anyone declaring "liberalism" or "conservatism" as finite terms distinguishing absolute morality is grossly misguided and closed minded. They're just words; and we're just people. Political positions aren't sports teams." - TitoSparks

It was my fault. I misunderstood what they were saying and posted too quickly.

Lies??? Please, just focus on your 9/11 conspiracies.

Ron Paul has done jack for Texas. This is his record in 30 years. No legislation passed and vote NO on everything. My 4 year old niece could do that.

Definitely won't argue there, but at least he treats people as a doctor free of charge, or so his supporters say. That's where he can best serve the country in my opinion.

I've no doubt he's an honorable man but he's a lousy politician. Time for him to retire and pass his mantle onto his son who might actually accomplish something.

I got news for you; the republican party was never alive in this election cycle. They are going to go down in flames because there is no unity within the party; everybody is too busy fighting with each other.

It was a primary race. Hillary and Obama had a far tougher one yet when the nominee was decided the people got behind him.

Republicans are not divided in the slightest. There is more division within the Democratic party today. You can see this with all the black pastors now fleeing Obama, the politicians breaking with him on important issues....Obama is in far more trouble than the republicans.

He's Dr. No! Do you know WHY he says no to everything? Because everything that they try to pass isn't in the Constitution and thus he votes no because most crap regulates the individual and he believes, in guess what? You might not believe this, but he believes in THE PEOPLE!!! So, if it's not in the constitution or messes with our freedoms... He votes NO!!!

Imagine that - a politician who actually IS for the People...

I would want a politician that actually tries and works to move the country in a direction. Paul simply votes no and refuses to compromise on anything to move forward. This is not a politician and Paul has been totally ineffective.

Tell me please what all his no votes have accomplished?

    Absolutely zero.

Your correct, they did, but I don't see that occurring for the Republicans in this election cycle.

Have you read some of the threads in this forum, in particular one's involving Ron Paul? People claim they are going to vote for Ron Paul regardless of who the Republican candidate is.

I participate in other forums and its the same thing; tea party fighting with the old guard (RINO's). There is no unity whether or not you desperately hope that there is. From all indications so far, there won't be either.
