Thread: BREAKING- Rand Paul Endorses Mitt Romney

I'm sure Ron understands, having acknowledged that he doesn't have what he needs for the nomination. I wager that at the end of the day, Ron will approach this in a pragmatic way... four more years for Obama, or support for Romney?

I understand the idea of Mitt and Obama being the same thing, but at the end of the day, who's more conservative... Mitt or Obama? In the unlikely case that Ron also endorses Romney, what will you do then?

He might be a tad better on the economy, but as a libertarian, I'm almost positive he'll be worse on foreign policy and social freedoms.

To be honest, speaking of FP, I do have a bit of fear that Romney might be too willing to go preemptive on Iran should the opportunity present itself. I'm not overly concerned though, 'cause we're broke and tired of war. I can't see Romney doing anything large scale without congressional approval. I think enough people have learned this lesson by now. Die hard Obama fans are fine with Obama's questionable militancy, but let Romney try it and see what kind of noise they make. Additionally, non-interventionist conservatives/Libertarians will add their voice to the opposition.

I agree. You must build on what is common. It is a winning strategy.

When Ron Paul endorses Romney, AND HE WILL, Paulobots will deny he did so,, just as they have been counting imaginary delegates that Paul NEVER had. And then Paulobots will vote for obama out of ignorance and childish spite.
