I should have said 'successful', none those were successful and one, the last one won't ever happen!
    My question still stands.
Conservatism and republicanism fails on every level, so why do you support it?

You've made it entirely too complicated for a socialist liberal to figure out.

No, I figured it out just fine.

    Oh, right. Ignoring me.

You seem to project that I believe every invocation of EP has been for the same reasons. Pretty stupid.

Shall I now project false beliefs onto you? Nah. That's just stupid.

Only a fool would believe the Democrats are right about everything or to blame for everything. Only a fool would believe the Republicans are right about everything or to blame for everything.

Actually, Rubio was against any kind of amnesty. Then three months ago, he came up with an alternate plan. The Dems have been trying to get a vote on the Dream Act for two years. Dan I know you don't like tose fact thingies but two years is longer than three months.
But hey! Congratulations! At least you posted about a topic!
In any case, I love that ConservaRepubs like Danny and BluesGuy - who are ALL OVER this board saying they are against any kind of amnesty, are now trying to give their party credit because you know "We GOPers were behind this long before Obama! He's stealing our ideas!"
The hypocrisy is hilarious! it's like Mini-Me's of John Boehner!

I will be voting for Jill Stein, because both of the other parties are incompetent and incapable of solving the problems this country faces. They pretend to have divergent ideologies, and in rhetoric they sort of do, but in practice both parties are influenced by the exact same set of interests. They are both corporatist parties. I want to vote for a non-corporatist party.
Im a Tarte, what! you want some of this!

The essence of any utopianism is: Conjure an ideal that makes an impossible demand on reality, then announce that, until the demand is met in full, your ideal can't be fairly evaluated. Attribute any incidental successes to the halfway meeting of the demand, any failure to the halfway still to go.

DHS issues visas and thanks to YOUR President, G.W. Bush, DHS answers only to the President. Which makes this 100% LEGAL.
But they don't make the law. Are you saying you support DHS having the authority to pass any laws it deems fit and not obeying any laws Congress passes? You'd have been OK with this when Bush was President?

You don't like it? Yell at Bush for creating the unconstitutional DHS.
Is that suppose to mitigate what Obama has done? Congress passed the laws under which DHS operates. Bush didn't create it and the laws it operates under, Congress did.

I understand you are now trying to qualify your statement since you were shown were Republicans did what you said they had not. That being said the tax cuts and welfare reform were successfully passed and successfully lowered taxes and cut welfare. As far as the Ryan proposals, vote for Republicans to get them passed.

I am a fiscal moderate, social progressive, sorta hawkish on foreign policy. I'm voting for Pres. Obama. I support Healthcare Reform and am not in favor of deeper tax cuts, increased military spending and privatizing SS/Medicare. The next POTUS will get to nominate one, maybe 2 SCOTUS justices. I sure don't want any more Scalias,Thomases or Alitos on the Court.
