Where did you get that idea?

Even if true so what? Are you not aware we are in a global economy? We as American citizens are free to invest anywhere we wish, you think that should be restricted? Where did you get the idea that investment firms should be more concerned with jobs than protecting the capital of the investors? You do know the boy industrialist company's have outsource LOTS of jobs and he's done it with taxpayer money?

ROFL no he did not, he paid LOTS more EXPONENTIALLY more than you and I paid combined.

Is that really the best you got?

Oh you didn't know Romney and his wife lived in a basement apartment and he worked as a security guard while he was in college and she was raising the babies? Why do you think Obama knows what it is like to live on minimum wage, he was raised in a middle class home he never lacked for anything.

Can we stop with the talking points and partisan hero worship just because they belong to a specific party. One of two that is responsible for the destruction of our economy to serve their rich/elite bosses.

Romney went straight from the elite Cranbrook private school outside Detroit to Stanford, to Brigham Young, to Harvard Business and Harvard Law, to a job at the Boston Consulting Group, and then the straight-to-the-stars business career that would make him a millionaire many times over. But a line hidden away in a 2007 New Republic article reveals that Romney did have a job before that, as a security guard at a Chrysler plant one summer during his high school years.

Babies? In high school? On a summer jobs wages? Please...

Obama’s very first job was scooping ice cream at a Honolulu Baskin-Robbins. He later described the brutal conditions he endured: "Chocolate ice cream gets real hard,” he has said. “Your wrists hurt. [Carpal tunnel syndrome, although] they didn't call it that.” That’s not the only reason he considers this his worst job — he ate too much ice cream and, consequently, doesn’t like it anymore.

    Oh boo hoo…

Neither of these people have a clue what the average American goes through on a daily basis. They are the worst representation of an average anything, except poor little rich kids, who had everything handed to them on a silver platter. Obama was raised by his grandma a bank executive. Where do you people get such gullible minds?

LOL, notice how Obama's former supporters are taking up the pulpit to tell us BOTH candidates are lousy? Guess they figure it doesn't hurt Barry so much if they act like Mitt's just as bad.

Barack's career in private industry ended with his ice-cream shop job in high school. Hardly a legitimate comparison.

IMHO there are only a hand full of elected officials in either party that can even relate to being an average American, since the major majority of them are not and have never been one to begin with, and most of the others, who started out as normal every day people, have their collective noses buried so far up the country club crowds ass they can't even pick their own nose, much less the right direction for this country to go in.

I certainly hope that wasn't directed towards me, because it would be a blatant lie.

Feel free, I'm not the harping on the so called "gaffes" talking points.

Actully he did missionary work for three years then returned and married Ann and they lived in a basement apartment driving a used station wagon while he attended school.

So his first failure was as a soda-jerk while living a nice middle class life in Hawaii.

I have no reason to believe either don't but it would be Obama who does not, Romeny and his wife lived a middle class life while he attended school and he made ALL his money on his OWN.

So do you think George Washington "was in touch with the average American"? Could he relate to being "an average American"? How about FDR? How about Kennedy?

Romney has a shot, but it's a long shot to anyone keeping an eye on the electoral college maps that are available to tinker with. By my reading, Romney will need to take FL, NC, VA, OH, and NH (or CO or IA instead of NH) to reach just over the needed 270 mark. If Obama takes just two of those away... game over. To make things worse... Romney can take NV, CO, VA, NC, NH, OH, and IA, but still lose if Obama takes FL (276-262). He's got work to do.

RCP averaged state polls and came up with Obama having a 95% chance of winning it all, leaving Romney with a 5% chance to win. While a chance is a chance, Romney is a very weak candidate who will not get the vote out. Obama is disliked but I think he will win more of the indy vote.

One thing is for sure, we are (*)(*)(*)(*)ed for at least the next 4 years.
