Default Michelle Obama Is A Great Speaker

I was watching C span yesterday and saw Michelle Obama speak. I thought it was a pretty strong speech. She's a better speaker than Hilary for sure. Anyone else see it?

What exactly is a "strong" speech?

Well for one thing when she is trying to get a cheer from the audience she changes her tone slightly instead of the monotone like Hilary. She actually seems like she believes what she says and seems like a real person. I noticed a lie though. She says she is still trying to pay off college loans then two sentences later says that they are now financially independent because of two best selling books. How can she relate a struggle of paying college loans then in the next sentence talking about selling two best selling books when that would probably make Obama enough to make him a millionare.

do you know what the above statement means? there is no "mostly unique;" thats like saying "sometimes always," its an oxymoron - its either one or the other.
You are incorrect, per google the phrase mostly unique comes up with over 3 million hits making the use of the phrase not so unique. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search

So it's not about what you say, but rather all about how you say it?

Default hey, can you say that in a thread title? hmm.....

Well yeah, Michelle is pretty impressive. I've heard her several times now, she seems like a smart lady. So far, I think she'd make a great First Lady! What do you think?

Absolutely! With the general American Public, it seems that you can dress up anything with flowery words and speech, and they will go for it. Only the "elite" know when a politician is full of bs. I'd say about 65% of the general population just thinks, "Oo! She used a big word in a sentence, she must be smart."
For the rest of us, the content of the speech does matter. And too many flowery words just makes the candidate look like the speech was written for them.

No one has made that claim, but please, don't pretend like you don't know the importance of good oration along with substantial content.

You're smarter than that.

Don't pretend that you don't understand my point, Joker.

Content is far more important than speaking ability. But that's just my opinion.

She may have disguised it with inspirational words, but Michell Obama was saying that we should vote for her husband because of his skin color. The fact that someone here used that as an example of a strong speech says more about the listener than the speaker, IMO.
